Christopher Willard, Artistic Director

 

Christopher has been the Artistic Director of the Backstage Theatre since 2005.

Previously, he was on staff at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities,directing several of their mainstage and children's theatre productions. His work as an actor, writer, and director has been seen up and down the front range. His shows have been produced in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, New York, and Texas. His script for Hidden (written with Jamie Bruss) is published by Playscripts, Inc. He has received numerous nominations and awards for his work including the Denver Post Ovation, CTG Henry Award, and honors from CCTC. He is a past recipient of a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. He was a graduate fellow in the drama department at Syracuse University and the 2013 Summit Foundation Outstanding Professional in a Non-Profit.

 

 

Mark Lineaweaver, Executive Director


Mark has served as Executive Director since 2013.  He is a Colorado native and long time Breckenridge resident. He feels lucky to be a part of the Backstage Theatre and town arts communities and to be able to raise his two children in such an incredible place. Mark has many years experience running small businesses and has a Masters in International Business from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

 

 

Kim Lineaweaver, Patron Services Manager

Kim moved from the nation's capital to Summit County, leaving behind a "corporate America" life managing technical support functions for large technology and investment banking firms to focus on raising her children. She very much enjoys working with theatre volunteers and patrons alike.
